Were there peanut shells scattered around. She might have had reason to connect camera-toting people with food.

no peanut shells, she was not being fed. She was in an area where people are not allowed to go, There were lots of marmots running around this day. This one just happened to sit on a rock and pose. she had her juvenile marmot with her. behind the rock .. plus I was the only one with a camera and a long lens.. there is no way she even noticed me with all the people gawking.

thank you, as I came back down she was up and squeaking up a storm at a dog on a leash and a bunch of kids pestering her.
