Open Streets PGH is a yearly event where some major city streets are closed to cars and buses. Everyone gets out on their bikes, scooters, feet, etc. (I saw some unicycles) and a bunch of tents and stands for various businesses and organizations pop up along the route.

Oh yes. Lots of people in the streets - and nothing motorized.

I'm sure there are similar events in other cities though. This one is organized by a local bicycling advocacy group.
