I should have reduced the shutter speed, but I was shooting lot of birds in flight, or at least trying to. Yellow-crowned Night Herons are a rarity in upstate NY so I was just lucky to get a shot at all. Much better than my photos of the female Ruff, another lifer, which look like Bigfoot photos.

She's doing a really good job of hiding .... and you did a really good job of finding her.
