The first shot really looks like a tree hugging another. Kind of filled with a story there.

The 2nd shot has the texture and composition I enjoy looking at.

The last shot has the green and mood embeded within the photograph.

They are all captured with a tought, Geroge

Thanks James! Although they are kinda snapshots, I have been studying classing centered but dynamic one third composition here in portrait mode...

Here is a variation of the dynamic centering trial in landscape mode from the same walk..

Nice images Georg. I especially like number two. I like the way the light cascades down the hill. Number one is obscene and needs a big fig leaf to cover up the naughty bits.

I love the tree! Great eye on that one Georg. This area looks like a place I would love to take a walk in with my camera. The landscape you posted is great. Can you tell me more about the post processing technique you refer to for it?

Yes, it is amazing the degree to which this first shot resembles hugging/kissing trees. We humans sure do tend to anthropomorphize our perceptions, do we not? It is a very nice pic and very well done--thank you.

This last pic generates wonderful and peaceful feelings for me as I look at it--thank you again. Your photography works at many levels!!!

LOL, thanks Tom, I love it when you use words "light cascades down the hill" it kinda elevates my humble image!

Thanks Charlie, I was lucky to have many kayakers passing by in pairs, so I composed with the house and it's reflection in the centre and just waited those kayakers to reach the one-third position, glad you liked it!

Thanks LaRee! Well, first of all I had a unusual weather to start with, rainy and cloudy day with foggy light. Then I applied the usual cropping, increased the exposure a little, but deepened the shadows at the same time, then finished the image with boosting the colours a bit, to create that darkish but intensive range. As I said it all depended on the weather, I was merely trying to brighten it up...

I was inspired to go out shooting in this "bad weather" after lokin at Dave's (daakon) misty Chicago picture earlier (in POTW).

Thanks Jewelltrail, for the kind comment!

I started to look after these kind of perceptions, when I read a thread here in the forum about anthropomorphism!

LOL, thanks guys! I actually also met their father-in-law and had to turn his attention away from the youth, so they could hug each other undisturbed Not too much effort required, though, as he had only one eye left after hard life! You see:
