Swallowtail on my Clover Patch · **1 Like**

When I mowed my yard a few days ago I left the top of my hill that borders the road with a thick patch of clover that was blooming to keep the bees and butterflies in the area happy until more flowers bloomed. Stopped to check and found this Swallowtail butterfly having a drink of nectar.

Thanks, It flew away after 3 shots and the other was straight to the trash. Got a bumble a few minutes later but I got a bit too anxious and got inside MFD on several of those, so more discards.

As most of us know, it is rarely the lens or camera!
