Female Blue Dasher
Lens: Pentax A-50mm f1.7 Camera: KS-2 ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/180s Aperture: F16
Posted By: Wbwhit, 08-06-2018, 04:51 AM

Shot was taken with a A-50mm lens reverse mounted to a 31mm extension tube (both recently purchased through the marketplace...love this site!) with pop up flash. I was playing around with the new to me tubes this weekend and this was my best shot so far. Image is straight ooc jpeg.

Very nice! How did you manage to get this close to it? I find them very skittish.
Best.

Best.
This one kept flying between a few spots on the same bush, so I just parked myself where I thought it would come back to...and got very lucky with the timing.
