It was a very pretty evening for sure. I saw the crack forming earlier in the day and had hoped it wasn't too large by the time sunset hit.

Really nice! I love that time in the evening with nobody else around. Looks like the Samyang 14mm judging by the 6 point sunburst.

Pentax 14mm. I think shot at f11, my go to aperture when i don't need to worry about light.

Definitely no one around here. 500 acre farm 45 minutes from a town of 3000. Very very quiet.

Absolute bliss (coming from a city boy who seeks remoteness). My favourite parts of the USA were the most remote, west Texas, New Mexico and Arizona etc (I didn't like the big city Phoenix).

Thanks tonezime! And nocturnal, if you ever find your way up to British Columbia, I think you'd find paradise. Not far from my parents place, the paved road actually comes to a complete end and you come to a point where you literally can't drive any further south.
Beautiful place, and a wicked spot for stargazing.

I'd love to go there, it is on my travel list. I can imagine how gorgeous the dark skies are. So jealous right now as true darkness has only started this week after the summer solstice. Thanks 😉
