"Film" crew - do you really mean "video"? This is a rather elaborate system - from "800-SAT-" presumably satellite dish.

I am 70 years old - many food places offer me their "senior discount" without my asking.

However I do notice that the sign next to their truck does say "Filming in Progress".

I may be missing something but these people appear to be far too close to the bison for safety.

The EXIF shows it was taken with a 310mm on a crop camera, so there's a lot of perspective compression....

Good point. You probably are right and I would assume the park people would be monitoring this sort of project. Having photographed these beasties I may be too sensitive to potential problems. Also I have seen a lot of foolishness/ignorance among park visitors.

Film and filming are universal words for recording moving images using whatever technology.

The satellite dish suggests live broadcast, so I wonder what was going on.
