A quick snap of a tree in the early morning fog/sunrise one spring morning from my kitchen window of all places.

What a spooky thing to see from your kitchen window.

Haha! Here's a colour version. It was a pretty sunrise.

Thanks! I had just started preparing breakfast when I noticed the sun beaming through the fog. Ran to the bedroom, grabbed the camera and snapped one of the quickest images I've ever taken.
I couldn't for the life of me get a frame/crop that I actually liked until I learned about all the other different crop types other than the rule of thirds.

Both nice shots. But the B&W certainly is spooky!

Both are great but what a contrast.

Good for you actually going and getting the camera -- I sometimes don't and then later regret it. Very nice shot.
