A cool looking building. Showing great texture. Shadows providing some depth. But in my opinion it is cropped a bit too tight. And tilted some to the left. Just my two cents.

I agree. Wanted to show the spiral, so I sacrificed a bit. That town is full of wonderful architecture from the late 1880's.

Here's a view of the "Bank" building on the square in Granbury, Texas.
You got me started. I am trying to collect photos from as many court houses in Texas as I can, but the project is just started.

Apparently the same rock quarry provided a lot of stone for construction in the late 1880's.

Yes, the stone is local. In fact, most of the modern houses in this area feature some white stone the same as in the old buildings. We have lots of it!
