2018-08-07-Planted Wildflower Garden
Lens: DFA 100 macro Camera: K-1 Photo Location: My back yard ISO: 100 Aperture: F11

K-1 and DFA 100 macro
ISO 100, Apertures mainly ƒ11 but some ƒ2.8 and ƒ5.6 as well., AV

I made a raised bed 4 inches deep and 3x8 feet, filled it with black earth and manure and sprinkled some wild flower seed on it It's been one of our favourite gardens this year, Being wildflowers, weeds with nice flowers essentially, they don't need weeding. They are weeds, how do you weed weeds?

The garden...

We don't know what many of them are, I unthinkingly tossed the package.

Right behind the garden a Choke Berry Bush, to help attract fruit eating birds

More to come next time I post, these are about half of today's images.

Our house has wildflowers growing around it, but our housing association has been demanding that I weed them, remove the thistles and other things they deem to be inappropriate; that is what I've been doing the past week when I'm not here.

I once was thinking of building a shop on crown land just off my property. I went to the town clerk to srr about acquiring the property. He said "why would you do that, it will increase your taxes./" I said because there isn't room for the shot on my property. He said "Hell, if I can't see it from the road, I don't care where you build."

But, that's part of why we live here.

Thanks, I never saw a macro opportunity I didn't like.
