Looks like either the Chickadee was drinking or I was. Maybe both.

This is an interesting effect - the PLM lens provided that bokeh? or did you do something "special"?

Yes. The 55-300 PLM provided the bokeh. AND I must have done something "special." If I ever figure out what I'll let you know. Seriously. I was drawing attention from some Yellow Jackets at the time. They made me slightly flinch occasionally when they'd land on me. Especially once when one landed in my ear. I deleted a number of completely out of focus shots I chocked up to those involuntary reactions. Other than that I simply don't think I did anything special.

Nice photo sir , yellowjackets have a tendency to make me nervous too .

They've gotten really bad here lately. Lots of them and more aggressive than usual.
