Black crowned night heron adult
Lens: DFA 150-450 +tc 1.4 hd Camera: K-3II Photo Location: Lancaster ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/320s Aperture: F10

These birds are busier at night but in the spring the males can be seen in the daytime bringing nesting materials to the nest building females .

I agree with Tonytee, this is a very good shot. I love the eye contact and all of the details of the face and beak.
