Really nice looking ... · **1 Like**

...caboose. I saw this while driving today, and thought "huh?". It looks freshly painted, but why do this when nobody is requiring a caboose any more?

note: I had only my 18-135mm lens with me. I zoomed all the way out to 100mm to get this on the other side of the yard.

Well, you got to the other side of the yard OK. The paint certainly looks fresh. Maybe it is part of some historical railroad assemblage.

I guess I was unclear. They had "No Trespassing" signs all over the place, so I zoomed the 18-135mm most of the way out and got the photo from where I was standing; I'm glad the distortion doesn't stand out in this case. "Historical assemblage" makes a lot of sense, but the herald they used is fairly new. Thank you for your thoughts, even though I'm not quite ready to go that way.
