Fog Rolling over Porcupine Islands
Posted By: DeadJohn, 08-10-2018, 05:31 PM

This was taken from Cadillac Mountain, Acadia National Park, Maine. The harbor west east of the park filled with fog on a hot, humid day while we were camping.

Nice shot John! It was certainly hot while you were up here! Today was much cooler and less humid but you are back West by now I suspect.

You seem to be getting a lot of fog - good for us .... I hope you've gotten some enjoyment from it also.

Nice to see the leading edge of the fog rolling in like that.

Yes, I didn't post any photos until I was already back home in the NYC suburbs. Maine cooled down by 10F the day after I left.

I managed a 20 mile bike ride on Acadia's carriage roads. I did it alone because my wife was [too smart] [too lazy] to join me during the heat wave.

Your wife had the right idea! It is back to humid but not so sunny and hot. Yard work still sucks due to the aforementioned humidity, but the rain made all the weeds sprout so off to mow I go!
