A rare opportunity in this neck of the woods. Snow and a sunset. Normally clouds dominate until the snow melts.

Snow does have a special appearance when the sun is allowed to provide special lighting.

This area was cleaned out by a bushfire this year so there's no foliage on the trees just yet. The snow and wind have formed thick under-slung ice which for a day turned the entire mountain into a forest of white crystal trees. It's really rare to see this in our neck of the woods.
