Bald Eagle goes swimming · **2 Likes**

I watched this eagle for a few hours and got my payoff. He went fishing and missed his fish. He hit the water hard and could not fly out. He was soaked. So he swam back to shore. He tried a few times to fly out but I think his wings were just too wet. It was the beginning of a bad day for him. I'll post a few more pictures of his day later. As a bonus I got to hear him squawk quite a bit. I don't have any shots of him diving in as I didn't pan fast enough.
