Ghost on the Pier!
Lens: Sigma 17-70 2.8-4.5 Camera: Pentax K5 Photo Location: Antioch California ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F16

This is my first attempt at a long exposure. It is only a 30sec exposure so there is a lot of ghosting with the people fishing.

It's tough in daylight to get a long enough exposure to eliminate ghosts. You either need to embrace them, or head out early/late enough that there are no people.

In this case I rather like it. Great image.

Thank you victormeldrew. You’re right about long exposures in the middle of the day and ghosting. I guess it all depends on the effect you are looking for.
