Just a fake little western town they built to get people to stop and go into the convenience store or café that was on the property. We stopped for a couple of pictures but had food in the cooler and had already eaten breakfast. But Carol and I grew up in a tourist town in Wyoming and now that we're nearing our "golden" years it's fun to play the tourist sometimes. Here's a shot of the rest of the "town."

And then they just take some photos and leave without so much as buying a coffee!

I just looked this up. Population of Dayville Oregon in 2016 was 145. Probably cannot rely on just the locals to keep you afloat. Store and café were there when I drove through about eight years ago. Obviously what ever they are doing is working. When we stopped this time there were four cars in the parking lot. One from out of state. Utah I think. To each his own but I'd rather be doing what they're doing rather than working 9-5 in some downtown office building cubicle . Yech!!!
