green & black
Posted By: Gooshin, 09-18-2008, 08:31 PM

was out on a date yesterday, i noticed that the K20D really likes to capture greens! anyway i saw a bench and told my lady friend to take a seat

i think i could have probably captured it better, but she didnt want to linger long, and it was chilly, so i only got one go at it.

taken with a late model Super-Takumar 55 F1.8 @ wide open, 1/6th @ ISO1600

also.. the boardwalk

same lens, wide open, 1/13th, iso 1600

#1 is a very nice picture on first glance, but upon inspection, why is everything glowing green? Is there a flood light or something highlighting all the objects in the scene? Are they playing baseball/softball?

There's no point in being too critical as this is what you see through your lenses

Looks to be a keeper in contrast and composition

cheers

I like both images, Well done. If you take the risk and look for unusual lighting, you may be rewarded. These images are excellent and the BW looks like a real BW film photo.

The first image really grabs ones attention. Skewed bench adds to a weird perspective.
