Very nice photos showing female elk caring for her calf .... look how she's glaring at the photographer when she has to stay in place because of nursing.

Yes. One of the better shots that I got of bull elk were right by the hospital in Payson. Once in a while people share a picture of an elk in front of McDonalds.

It wasn't just the photographer that she was glaring at, but the clients that I had in my Jeep as well. There was probably at least 30 elk in that area when I took that picture, a mix of cows and their young and at least a couple of bull elk. I'll probably post some other photos of them at some point.
