I have a daughter working and living in Dublin (for a good number of years now) and I always find the place to be a truly cosmopolitain and vibrant city, with many many great places to eat and drink and full of wonderful Irish folk.

There are many strong associations and links with the Scots, which is probably why we make such good drinking buddies, even when you folk add an extra E to whisky.

It's also quite magical place in terms of light, especially in the early mornings on this part of the Liffey.
