Just To Prove It's A Scottish Machair

Nothing wrong with a thistle. A favorite of butterflies and the American Goldfinch over here.

And with post 175 out of the way it's time to get some errands done this afternoon

Couldnae agree more... that's why we adopted it as our national flower... and here's the reason why "Legend has it that at some point during the invasion the Norsemen tried to surprise the sleeping Scottish Clansmen. Perfect focus on the thistle, emphasizing its physical sharpness. And the single purple flower still left, surrounded by all that Scotland landscape and sky. Very strong and beautiful image. Thanks.
