I have an A400 too, but I've yet to get a clear picture out of it. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, but the bad results discourage me from figuring it out.

This was some impressive manual focus.

Thanks, it's a fun challenge all right. Give it another spin, it took me a month or two to work it out, and I still very rarely get a good shot.

I second that comment. All the things to keep track of when pictures like this present themselves and you have to turn the focus ring too!
