Even if it was a Hasselblad it's not worth risking that water to save. But I'm glad you and the camera were safe, and you captured such a mesmerizing image. Shouldn't this have been taken by a Pentax???!
LOL - some of my stuff is. On that trip I bounced between my GX-1 and my K-3. I used the GX-1 on several trips with my dad since he uses a GX-7. His 45-175 lens is what I was using at the time. Correction, my 35-100 f/4-5.6 is the lens I used. A ludicrously tiny telephoto that makes me giggle just thinking about it.

On this forum only certain threads specify Pentax lenses or cameras some like this one are open to anything. I love my K-3 but I don't let that stop me from having fun shooting with what I have with me - even a cell phone works in a pinch.

I never used to use my cell phone but these days I do since I always have it with me. I also use a range of other cameras, including Pentax of course. I find certain cameras work best for certain situations, so I have quite a stable of them. I was inspired to become a nature photographer by my aunt and she used Pentax way back pre digital, so they have always been special to me too.

Why? It's beautiful, like the whole image. Your little Lumix just wanted to remind you that it's a capable camera too.

I think because it's easy to forget how much the distance to the background contributes to the bokeh.

Very good! There is nothing wrong with M4/3.
