I only played a little with exposure in PP. I didn't want to disturb the mood too much.
I think these red sunsets are caused by all the fires out west.

Not bad for hand-held, I'm pretty happy.

I like the swift (?) in the second image. A slightly higher shutter speed would have completely nailed that photo.

It's either a swallow or a blackbird. It was nearly dark by that point, and had I actually thought about taking some sunset pictures, I'm sure I could have done better!
For a spur-of-the-moment series, I'm pretty satisfied. On the full-resolution image you can see dragonflies making their last sorties of the day, they're just out of focus blurs, but identifiable as dragonflies, and there are some other birds moving around, probably going to their roosts.
