The Gathering "Street Photography"
Posted By: Kerrowdown, 08-25-2018, 12:58 PM

Being bold with my "Good Lady” (Pentax-A 20mm F2.8), in a noisy environment and with a distraction of a mobile, can yield potentially wonderful results.

I'm literally inches away from this guy and he didn't know I was there, so I managed this candid portrait of him.

When I watch movies about zombies, I realize it's not some virus, but technology that has turned into something less than human.

Neat photo of all these people. I find that other photographers and phone users can be most interesting because many are so self-absorbed that they don't think in terms of what other people are doing.

Three possibilities come to mind:
1 He is the only one who has realized that it is summer.
2 The phone was so distracting he forgot to finish getting dressed.
3 All the others are tourists who think it's cold.

How fast have you had to run when someone noticed you aiming your lens at them?

A wee old Kerrowdown hot tip... I always brazen it out.

I just look like I'm shooting past them and usually take a couple more, they're not to know just how wide a 20mm is...
