Two strips of white electric fence tape just out of view at the bottom. Looked horrendous photographically but it was keeping the cows out.

Nice photograph, but always sad to see a structure deteriorate like this.

Did a little research on Flora Oregon. The town's heyday peaked in 1910. Not surprising that the few buildings still standing are in sorry shape. Thanks for the comment.

More from Flora?

Whoops, I wrote this just before your post. Nice to have people documenting the fate of these buildings.

I enjoy visiting ghost towns. Not many of the old buildings left at this one.

Thanks for commenting. Distracting objects just to the right and just below. But I found the weathered siding and leaning steeple/bell tower interesting.

Nope. Pews aren't big enough.

Very good photo Dave. It always makes me wonder what was going through the mind of the last person to walk away from something like this.

Thanks Jer. Composition choices were limited. Quite a few "distractions" nearby. Electric fence, dilapidated mobile homes, pile of broken concrete blocks etc.

Thanks for the comment Todd. Was obvious this church had not been in use in quite some time.
