Full moons are pretty tough. I usually use f8-f11, iso 100, and 1/100 sec as my starting point. Always on a tripod with the 2sec shutter delay, or wireless remote if the battery is not dead.

OK, it's way over exposed, the moon needs daytime exposes Here is one from a few years ago at 500mm (Bigma} f:11 at 1/125 .iso 100.

It's just takes a few tries and than it's real easy.

Thank you for advise, i know that but my point was to catch the full light as much as possible not the details.
The second example here show details but still not perfect at this high ISO-800
It was taken with the same lens (Vivitar Series1 Catadioptric 600mm) This lens is fixed aperture 1:8.
So the image below was taken with different speed 1/200s
