Posted By: Jimbo, 09-19-2008, 06:05 PM

Shots these during my golf trip this week... There were around 200 on the coarse. I still have a few more shots to process from the trip. Very smokey where we were so light was difficult. [fires in the area] Cheers JIMBO

Great photography, Jim.

The first shot shows the environment (which is great with the dry grass and a touch of desaturation) the follows by a great close up.

Beautiful

I have only seen them in the Grand Canyon on a rafting trip... They are wonderful creatures...
How nice you can combine Golf and Photography and get great shots of animals in the wild... I hope your golfing was as successful as the photography

Thanks James. These shots were taking in Kamloops BC Canada. We were golfing. The lens is my new sigma 70-200 2.8 Macro... Like how fast this lens focuses. Thank you again for commenting. JIM

PS: I have a few other lens that could have done the job, but you know what its like with a new toy... Wish I had my 2x teleconverter which I am still waiting on. JIM

You've really got to stop posting pictures with that lens. My account can't take another hit this month.

Great work!
