I made a single edit to this image, and that is to level the horizon. This is representative of the spectacular sunsets visible at the eastern edge of St. Joe Bay in Port St. Joe, Florida. I've never been anywhere with a sunset which comes close to this. The closest I've ever seen was a sunrise on St. George Island, Florida, which is just about due east of this location, but on the inside of the arc of the Big Bend, and faces east instead of west, like this view. I did not have a camera for the sunrise on St. George, but I wish I had. That was long before digital imaging, and I did not have a film SLR at the time (or even a P&S). If you ever get the chance, the sleepy little town of Port St. Joe offers friendly folks, good seafood, and spectacular sunsets.

Thank you both. I had all but forgotten about this series, and it really is one I'm kind of proud of. I'm a rank amateur when it comes to photography, and my composing skills are well below par. But these came together nicely and I really like a number of them. Pretty sure some of these will end up in a 5x7 horizontal multi-image frame, hanging on the wall above my office door, soon.
