Thank you all, I was kind of figuring there is going to be a nice sunset so taking a chance I jumped on the subway to Queens, walk a few blocks down to East River and waited for the sun to set. And after a few opening shots I got lucky, the clouds was lit up by the setting sun.

Thanks for sharing. Good use of blue hour.

I've been in that vicinity a few times. It's good for sunrise photography, too, with the sun behind you reflecting off glass-faced buildings.
