Railway Station, Central Porto
Lens: smc Pentax FA*24/2 Camera: Pentax K-1 Photo Location: Porto, Portugal ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/6s Aperture: F8

It’s a comparatively small railway station, but the interest is on the walls of the entrance hall. All of those pictures are comprised of hundreds of tiles.

The K-1 image stabilisation does pretty well, handheld at such a slow shutter speed. To look closer, click on the image, to go to Flickr.

Might be a small train station, the home of port wine, but want a hall! Quite exceptional!

Yes, it’s quite an attraction, but so is the rest of Porto, and not just for the wine!

Fantastic tiles, and I like the energy of the place.

Portugal's like that, in a laid-back kind of way. Unlike some countries, they seem to accept that they aren't the world power they once were, and I think it probably makes them happier for that.
