Bright morning piper
Lens: DA*300 Camera: K-3ii Photo Location: Assateague Island National Seashore ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/800s Aperture: F5.6

Super over-exposed background but the little piper looks alright...

Not sure what else I could have done here, but I'm happy with the results...


This is an old shot from over 2 years ago. I like to go back and see the details of the metadata to see how I could have improved the shot.
Not sure I would have changed anything here...

I like it, just call it a high key portrait and forget about the bright background

Actually the blown out background is just so right in this instance! Works great as a backdrop against the perfectly exposed bird.

I actually like the over exposed background, since it doesn't distract from the bird which is perfectly exposed.
