Honeymoon in Paris (WARNING: Lots of Pics)
Posted By: synnyster, 09-20-2008, 06:18 AM

I haven't shot much at all in the last few months, but I was finally able to dust off the K100D Super. I recently got married and had my honeymoon in Paris. Of course, I took a lot of photos. Here are a few that I liked. They are broken down into 3 sets.

Paris in Color:

Paris in Black & White:

And of course us:

And that last picture of her, that is her K100D . We brought along the DA* 16-50, DA* 50-135, and the FA50. Had a great time. Sorry for all the pics, hope you enjoy them. If you want to see the complete sets, you can go here:

Paris Collection

On a side note, does anyone know why some of my photos in Photoshop show the lens used and some do not? The photos are all in PEF when I view them in Bridge and only some show the lens being used.

It is an excellent series. The B&W's are very good, my favourites being the Louvre Pyramid, the shot from the Eiffel tower and the last one of the hedges/gate.

I really like the shot of you both on the ground facing the camera.
Btw. You lucky guy! Beautiful lady and as an added bonus she like to shoot as well!

Really like the last one. It sum's it all up, with a lovely wife, a great camera, a great background, and very cool bokeh!

the B&W's are a little over exposed for my taste (lacks some contrast) again that's only based on my taste. other than that they are lovely and have a wonderful mood and feeling to them. I'm glad you chose B&W for them, as I think B&W is the only thing that can do a city such as Paris any true justice. I'm envious. glad you enjoyed your honeymoon in the 'City of Love'.

Thanks for all the comments. Had a great time on the trip. It was my first international getaway. I can't wait to go abroad again next year. I'm really craving some new primes too.

Beautiful shots, I hope my next travel trip pictures will improve to your level. Of course, it'd be nice if my girlfriend were also into photography, so she wouldn't be so annoyed with me stopping and finding a good angle/composition/lighting etc.!

All very good. The colour and composition are all excellent. You have a very good eye for photography.
