I like the textures a lot. I do wish I could see more of what's in the shadows, but I guess mystery is the intention of the photographer

Absolutely; they shadows were exposed so they nearly or totally closed up in black on purpose: I wanted the stark contrast.

Nice composition and shadows. This shot would only really work in B&W - well done.
