Orange Sky at Morn

Well, it's mostly steam, so it looks scarier than it is. Nice colors!

That's some heavy orange that the narrow view gives. A great setting for the rising steam and all the stacks. Very industrial. Doesn't look ominous to me, just what we humans do. The shade variations in the steam really add a lot for me. Nice image. Thanks.

A lot of what we humans do is ominous.

This is a great capture, good work seeing how it would turn out. I love the contrasts.

Thanks, everyone, for your comments. It's one of the largest refineries in Oklahoma, and a fairly common sight around the state. There's actually a twin refinery just to the south of this photo, but obscured by a hill from this vantage point.
