Not only fascinating view of that bridge, but engineering wonders: The weight carried by the bridge is transmitted to the cables going up and resisted by that inverted Y column to transmit the forces to the ground. In other words all members of the bridge carry the weight imposed on it.

this bridge was built in soviet times, when it was considered very modern. they named it Gorky bridge after the writer Maxim Gorky. now it is called Vanshu bridge.
