I've been looking for a semi-decent stay on camera travel lens...travelling to hot climes can result in dust ingress while changing lenses and a lot of photo retouching when back home. I saw this miss-advertised as a DG version on ebay and purchased it to try it out. It's smaller and lighter than the D FA 28-105 and while not being as sharp, can still produce decent enough images...try one if you get the chance.
