Rescued while mowing the lawn, which explains the little bits of grass sticking to him.

After Tess picked him up off the lawn, running to get away from the lawn mower, we put him there. I got off maybe 6 shots before he climbed off.

He's certainly in contrast to the flower normhead...makes for a striking image.

You'd have felt worse if it had gone through the mower...I'm sure you returned it safely to the wild after its photo opp.

The last shot is him making his way down into the old flower garden, we'd set the sunflower down on the edge of the garden.
