Thanks Tuco! As a regular lurker of the medium format photo thread I sometimes try to emulate the quality on show there. Wether it results in a hit or a miss; having quality medium format photographers showcasing their stuff here does inspire me.

Yes, it one of my favorites too! I've made 17 of these in a row and made a very long panorama...
Thanks!

Thanks Alan! The beauty of the country is the reason I keep coming back and why I invested in my first Pentax DSLR (K200D).
Originally posted by PJ1 Nice series of interesting shots. I love seeing landscapes like that.
Pete, thank you! I hope the next batch is to you liking too.
Originally posted by PenPusher A fine selection of shots of a beautiful place, the last one is particularly good
Thanks! I came back with about a 350 shots and narrowed it down to 75 for the photobook I make every year. And then I narrow it even more down for posting here.

I remember sitting down near the trail on the other side on the river and scanning the landscape with the DA*300mm when I stumbled on to this small cabin. The sense of scale you get with a telelens in a landscape like this looked a perfect fit for this scene.
Cheers,
