Oops, touched the shutter button to soon...
Lens: FA31mm Camera: K-1 Photo Location: Hallum, the Netherlands ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/320s Aperture: F4
Posted By: Fries, 09-06-2018, 12:26 PM

I normally don't share photo's that are a write of. But this one... This is wat happened. To end a big restoration program two public officials were releasing two ducks into the air. My camera was in the wrong drive mode and I had to film this at the same time with another camera on a tripod when I had to shout to stop the proceedings because another photographer moved into my shot. In short, it was messy! In between filming I quickly made a JPG out of the raw file and then made some fast edits after I transferred it to my phone and send it to the newsroom. When I arrived my colleagues where smiling...a lot! I did too after seeing it on a bigger screen. I won't describe what it made them funny to them...

Cheers,

Remco

given the rates you'll get for news photos you could find this more lucrative as a blackmail shot; especially with two possible payers

Glad you guy's like it! I have to smile every time I see it. For the blackmail idea to work I guess I shouldn't have published it here I suspect.
