Today I noticed a web on our porch. After carefully searching the perimeter of the web, I eventually found the guy who constructed it; he was moving slightly - so he was alive - but he was scrunched up against the porch not looking very good. After trying various angles, this was the best image I could get .... but I had to push ISO on my K-30 way up to get it.

You got in there nice and close. The pic speaks volumes for the capability of the lens as well. You have a thin depth of field but the hairs on the legs are very sharp where they are in the field of focus.
