Bee on Lavender
Posted By: GeoJerry, 09-15-2018, 09:07 PM

Bees really love lavender, so on a good day when the lavender is blooming in the garden, I can go out and get dozens of shots, but invariably only a few are decent.

Nice one! I have a bottlebrush plant that is packed with bees this weekend. I have taken a bunch of shots and have a few keepers, but the little buggers are not that easy to get in a good position and sharp.

What a nicely executed shot. It's difficult to get the little buggers to cooperate.

Thanks Todd, I hear you. You just have to keep firing away. Usually they're gone before you can compose and focus, and they always seem to want to be on the other side of a leaf or flower from you.
