The last of the fall flowers are putting on a final show around here. Lots of Asters are still in bloom and there's still a lot of Golden rod. These pics are of my 30 year old Tuberous Begonia, which blooms in the fall. That's followed by two pics of one of my favorite asters; the Common blue woods aster, with their delicately colored petals and yellow and maroon center. Finally, and to prove that those small, waterproof cameras(in this case a Fuji XP-90) can take some decent shots, a pic of a Virginia Creeper whose leaves blaze in the fall...they grow everywhere around here. The berries are toxic to humans.
