Nice! It looks as if you've had some recent rain. Chuffed with my 44 mm yesterday near Bloemfontein.

We are actually still in the middle of a drought, the whole town on borehole water since December 2017 (the water in the dam is mostly mud), luckily we had about 50mm of rain a week or so ago, so the veld seems to be reacting to that

Haak Vrystaat! I'm glad you got some rain, we normally get a bit of rain a month or so after the northern provinces, but it seems as if the seasons are a month or so later than normal

I lived n G-Rt for a year, along with numerous visits (my wife's grandmother and subsequently parents lived there)- I recognised those mountains immediately
