Interesting character there. Everyone here is dressed like a rancher/farmer or is in office clothes. Last street shot I took ended up with the inebriated man giving me a hug and then the liquor/sweat smell stuck to me. Oh boy! I could smell it on me in the Jeep driving home and couldn't wait to wash. lol, I need to explain that: I have an extremely heightened sense of smell, if someone pours cola in a glass I can smell it walking by. I can smell any residual scent from any store on the clothes of a person. I can tell which store a product came from just from sniffing the packaging. Thus alcohol is very strong to me to smell. Medical term is Olfactory Abnormality and Hyperosmia. The inebriated man came out of a storefront with his son and he was like... oh my.. Dad is going to show off his '6-pack stomach' it was hilarious.

That sounds like you could put the drug detection dogs out of a job.

Seriously good portrait--definitely some skilz involved at that shutter speed, too.

Indeed, he is. The look of someone who knows his own mind - you can imagine this look on the face of a multinational CEO, a general officer, a top-notch physicist or a jazz musician. This is a very cool photo.

I've always used Sniper style breathing for my photography, i.e. exhale as normal and then stop briefly, gently squeeze the shutter release. Also modern day SR technology helps immensely too.
