First try with my new wide angle
Lens: Irix Blackstone 15mm Camera: K-1 Photo Location: Frisian coast ISO: 100 Aperture: F9
Posted By: Fries, 10-24-2018, 02:00 PM

Finally pulled the trigger and bought the Irix 15mm Blackstone. Having a weather sealed prime for my K-1 was something I could not resist. I haven't bought any of the (big) zooms for that camera and experimenting with a really wide angle lens appealed to me. Here are some results from the first and second time I used it. I think it is a keeper!

Cheers,

Remco

You make good use of UWA in these photos.
Only recently have I come to value having a UWA lens.

Thanks! I have been shooting a lot of wide angle photo's but only at 16mm on APC or 24mm on FF. I once had the opportunity to use the DA15mm from a friend on APC and in the short time I had it, it produced some really nice keepers. In hindsight I have waited to long buying a UWA lens.

I am rather satisfied with them too and I am glad I'm not the only one! That would be rather embarrassing... Thanks!
