Halloween Rebecca

Rebecca, Halloween Shoot. Pentax K-1, Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 and DA12-24 in FF mode, gelled Godox strobes front and back. A theatre set builder made the doorway and accompanying 'brick wall' with a hacksaw and polystyrene foam.

I know it's said that it's not an Aussie tradition, but the All Saints Day period is very old and goes back to Europe, originally. Gives a good excuse for a themed shoot, the subjects can have fun and that really shows through in their poses … seem to have some extra energy.

Nice, you went all in with that scenery. Was it expensive? Will you keep it, as it may prove to be useful for other set ups, or is it just throw away stuff?

Yes, Torashi, its creator would have taken it back home on his trailer (it did get a bit of damage on the way in). Prop/background making is something he does part-time for money.

Yeah, that's right, Torashi.

In the 'after' photo below, the models are left and right, the instructor's assistant is on the chair, I'm in red at the back, and the guy who built the sets is kneeling in the front.
