Buffalo at TGNP, Kansas

A buffalo taken early October, glad the flies like the smell of buffalo better than human. I'd like to go check them out in full winter coat sometime.

Terrific shot of one beautiful animal. Hard to imagine that when they are first born, they eventually will turn out to be a two thousand pound animal. All they eat is grass and all they drink is water.
